This site is for all Foo Fighters fans. It is also for people who just want to get information on the Foo Fighters. The Foo Fighters began in 1995, when Dave Grohl decided to start a band one year after the break-up of Nirvana. Dave Grohl being the ex-drummer of Nirvana. Dave Grohl is a multi-instrumentist and he recorded the self-titled album on his own, playing each instrument. Except on a few songs, X-Static where his friend played the guitar, his name is Greg Dulli. He then went on to form the band. The first line-up was Pat Smear, the live guitarist from Nirvana and two members of Sunny Day Real Estate, Nate Mandal on Bass and William Goldsmith on Drums. In 1997, Sunnday decided to reform and both these members left. However this was short-lived, Nate Mendal returned soon after. A new drummer was needed and Dave's friend and drinking partner now filled the permanent place, Tailor Hawkins. When the second album was released Pat announced he had had enough and he was gone. Dave soon found a replacement in ex-Scream member, Franz Stahl. Scream was Dave's band before Nirvana. Franz then left the band and live guitarist Chris Shifleft took over whilst touring  after the third album had been released and now has became permanent. The album has just released their new single, The One and is set to release an album soon and our coming over to England later this year.
