Introduction
'Friends of Pastoral Care' was formed March 1999 to enable the
continuation of the work of the Pastoral Care Team at Leeton District Hospital and to
promote the work of Pastoral Care in our community.
The Pastoral Care Team is made up of a group of lay people - from all
walks of life - and clergy from the local churches.
Team members are all encouraged to listen to, reassure, and offer
spiritual comfort and joy to patients, relatives, carers, friends and staff of the Leeton
District Hospital, wihtout discrimination, and in a friendly, loving, non-judgemental way.
