| Opening Pot Luck Dinner This was our first event of the year and it was very successful. Our first meeting was also held during the Potluck. Nicole, our new esteemed President, ran the meeting and each committee spoke about plans for the new semester. Sisters also had the opportunity to sign up for committees during the meeting. DPE's FIRST ANNUAL HALLOWEEN BASH On October 31, 2000, DPE held its first "Annual Halloween Bash". The party was "costume only" and everyone who attended adhered to this rule. The event was "exclusive" for DPE sisters and their dates/friends as well as the DPE Fraternity brothers. Good wine, lots of music, crazy costumes, great company, and a fantastic time was had by all. Can't wait till next year!!!!! THE LEGALITY OF NATO'S ACTIONS IN KOSOVO A lecture was presented by Professor Arend, on the legality of NATO's actions in Kosovo. The lecture took place in early November in ICC. SO YOU WANNA BE A ...LAWYER? In Mid-November the DPE sisters had three lawyers and one law student speak on their choosing law as a career path and their experiences in the field and/or law school. They gave excellent insight in to what it is to be a lawyer. This lecture was the first in a series of pannels planned by the sisters of DPE in a format of SO YOU WANNA BE....___________? New Sister Initiation Ceremony On November 17, 2000 the new Isis pledge line was initiated into DPE. The initiation ceremony was a real success. DPE Annual Christmas Party End of the Year Meeting |
