Be sure to include "Cocker Spaniel" in the subject line or your e-mail may be filtered as junk mail and please include your phone number and where you are calling from so I can call you back. Please also tell me briefly why you would be a good home for one of our little darlings, also preference for sex, age, and color, if any, also how you found us. If you are undecided about the sex of your puppy you should know that the boys are just as sweet as the girls in this breed. We can provide plenty of support and other resources if you are a first time cocker or dog owner. If this is your first cocker, I must warn you will probably want more than one! Once approved you will then be placed on our waiting list or be able to choose from the available puppies pictured here. If no puppies are available and you are placed on the waiting list I will send a litter announcement approximately 2-4 weeks after the pups are born with pictures and more specific information, or available pups will be posted on this page. Then you will choose your puppy from the pictures and return a deposit and signed spay/ neuter contract to hold the puppy until they are old enough to leave for thier new home. Our puppies are sold only as pets unless special arrangements are made for show homes. The champions in their pedigrees should be important to you even if you are only looking for a good pet because they show that health testing has been done over many generations and that those dogs have been judged to be the best breeding stock. Merry temperament is also a very important part of good breeding. We strive to produce quality, healthy, happy puppies. | The parents of our puppies are chosen based on a number of criteria including conformation, merry temperment, and most importantly health. Health testing will be done on both parents and puppies are always vet checked. Health testing includes an annual eye exam by a certified veterinary opthamologist , OFA or Penn hip certification is done when 2 yrs old, and any other testing deemed necessary by the veterinarian. The champions in the pedigree show that health testing has been done over many generations and that those dogs have been judged to be the best for breeding stock. We do not like to have puppies leave until they are at least 8-12 weeks old. Show prospects may be held longer. Both parents are usually on the premisis for you to meet unless a stud is used. All puppies have had their tail docked, dew claws removed and will have thier first shots and worming done. Their first grooming is done before they leave and is complimentary. Every puppy customer will recieve a puppy pack with a spay/neuter contract, health guarantee, care guides, toys, food samples,pedigree, and a medical record to take to your vet. We gladly comply with all the ASPCA guidlines for being a responsible breeder. Our puppies are raised on Purina Pro Plan Chicken and Rice Puppy formula. Do not use the large or small breed formulas. They will be on Puppy food for about the first year of life so go ahead and get the big bag. Follow the chart on the back of the package for feeding.
