Photos Of Partially Naked Hostage Enrage International Community

By Matt Forge

Saudi Arabia (FP) -- Images of Paul Johnson Jr., a 49-year-old from New Jersey taken captive by al Qaeda gunmen, have drawn shock and harsh words from the UN and other peace-loving world organizations. The startling photos show that the American's clothes have been partially ripped off bearing his naked skin underneath.

"I didn't even know this was happening until I heard about the guy in the shredded jumpsuit," said an enraged Nobel Peace Prize-winning Kofi Annan, current Secretary-General of the UN. "This was obviously done against his will. As soon as we find these terrorists we are going to lay heavy sanctions on them. We will draft resolution after resolution until they comply - or until they cut his head off, whichever comes first."

"It's one thing to kidnap and murder someone for a good anti-American cause, but it's quite another to humiliate them in front of other people against their will," said Sean Penn, a guy who plays make-believe for a living. "I blame George W. Bush for my seeing that guy's nipples!"

Even the Pope has criticized those who are responsible and said in a written statement: "In the past few days, this deplorable event has come to light which has troubled the civic and religious conscience of all, and made more difficult a serene and resolute commitment to shared human values. In the absence of such a commitment the release of three of your henchmen confined in three Saudi prisons ain't gonna happen and Westerners ain't gonna leave the Arabian Peninsula."

It's reported that one of the terrorists was moved by the pontiff's statement and wanted to put Mr. Johnson's clothes back on, but he was resoundingly defeated in a 'show-of-knives' vote.

One thing is for sure, everyone agrees that this is a crime against humanity (the bearing of the man's bodily skin, not the kidnap and possible beheading). Concerned world citizens are praying that there will be a speedy end to Mr. Johnson's humiliation -- one way or another.

Son's Plea: "Whatever you do, put his clothes back on."
