FORGOTTEN VOICES is the fictitious story of a mulatta cabaret singer, in late 1930's Mexico, Amara Ines. Her lifelong dream is to travel the world singing. A French cabaret owner from Paris discovers her and gives her the opportunity to perform her act in Europe. During this time WWII breaks out and Amara Ines is abandoned in the brutal world of the holocaust.
Amara Ines was living her dream, and like many others, she found herself struggling to survive day by day. 11 million people died; 6 million Jews and 5 million non-Jews. Amara Ines, having come from a continent away, is forsaken in WWII. Her voice, forgotten.
