Danbrook Family History ~~ The 1700's

Thomas Danbrook, born in 1685, married Elizabeth Moss in 1711 at Ubbeston. They had the following children:

1. Thomas Danbrook, born in 1713, married Elizabeth Booty. They had Sarah Danbrook who married a Mr. Johnson and in turn had Sarah Johnson. Thomas and Elizabeth also had William M Danbrook, born in 1741, who married Rebecca Moor. They in turn had 2 children: Rebecca, born in 1786, and Matilda, born in 1787.

2. Samuel Danbrook, born in 1717.

3. Bethia Danbrook, born in 1722, married Thomas Watling on October 30, 1759 at Yoxford.

4. Matthew Danbrook, born in 1724, married Mary Betts in 1757. They had 3 children: Thomas Danbrook, born in 1758; Matthew Danbrook, birthdate unknown; and John Danbrook who married Mary Ashfield. John and Mary in turn had a son, John Danbrook.

5. Dina Danbrook, born in 1727.

6. Sarah Danbrook, born in 1731.

7. James Danbrook, born in 1733, died in 1798 at Yoxford. He married Mary Ashford in 1761. The sunsequent history of our Danbrook line stems from these two people, and is traced here and on the following pages.

3. Elizabeth Danbrook, born in 1769 at Yoxford.

4. William Danbrook, born in 1772.

James Danbrook, born in 1761, married Sarah Smith in 1786. He died in 1841 at the age of 80. James and Sarah had the following children:

1. Amy Danbrook, *** born in 1787, married John Andrews in 1810. Amy died in 1870.

2. James Danbrook, born in 1788. He is the one who emigrated with his children to Canada.

3. Sarah Danbrook, born in 1793.

4. William Danbrook, born 1796, died 1877. Married Mary Anne. They had 2 children: a son William, born 1838 and a daughter Mary Ann, born 1836.

5. Elizabeth Danbrook, born in 1798 at Darsham.

6. Letty Danbrook, born in 1801,

7. John Danbrook, born in 1803.

8. Jane Danbrook, born in 1805, married William Clark in 1827.

9. Mary Danbrook, born in 1807.
