Professor Foster's Office Hours™ is named for the theme of my act, which portrays me as a college sociology professor (my full-time job) and my knee figures (dummies) and puppets as students in my office. (No reflection on my actual students is intended or should be implied!)

Although discussions between myself and my sidekicks incorporate plenty of humor, just as one might expect from a ventriloquial skit, there is a twist. They are also issue-oriented and revolutionary.

Briefly, radical ventriloquism™:

1. promotes community-based socialist and green economies and the collectivization of national and global capitalist industries
2. advocates a world federal government to replace the current disintegrative system of sovereign nation states
3. favors an amalgam of socialist (radical and Marxist) and androgynous (postmodern and deconstructive) approaches to gender equality
4. critically examines the oppressions, the alienations they produce, and their possible resolutions through social inclusiveness
5. incorporates certain clinical and applied sociologies, sociologies of religion, constructionist sociologies, progressive sociologies, theologies of liberation, and postliberal theologies.

I have been a ventriloquist since 1964 and have experience working in a variety of media. Whether you agree with the various controversies we raise, I think you will find our dialogues both challenging and engaging.
