The date and place of birth of Glen McClain and the first name of his
wife were received from Pearl Sawyer in 1998. She had no further
information on this branch of the family.

He is shown as Leo G. McClain, age 5 and born in South Dakota in March
1895, in the 1900 U.S. Census for Meade County, South Dakota (Volume 11,
SD 1, ED 34, Sheet 7, Line 29). He is living with his parents, John and
Grace McClain, and four siblings in the second ward of the City of
Sturgis, Sturgis Township, Meade County, South Dakota.
