Welcome to Rachel's Lounge! - This is my home on the Internet. A little chance to share some of me with the world.

I am Rachel Fox, a UK based individual experiencing transgender issues. Put simply I was born male but with the thoughts and feelings of a female. I have been aware of these issues for most of my life but so far I have not decided to live in the female role fulltime, I would like this to change soon.

I put this site together for a number of reasons, firstly I do alot of web design in my work and I had yet to do a design that I felt allowed me to express my design ideas so this is my second version. Secondly and more importantlyI have spent most of my life in a male persona, so I wanted in some way to show the world who I really am and be able to say who I am without fear of being persecuted, judged or ridiculed. So my attitude is, 'this is me, if you like me great if not such is life'.

Rachel's Lounge is designed to be a mixture of information. I also want the site to be a place where I can share information with others interested in the TG community. Most of this information covers topics such as shopping and where to go. I have not included any TG medical or pyschological debate because others are far more knowledgeable and have created valuable resources already.
