French Units
The 1st Regiment of Zouaves is a campaigner unit based in Southern Pennsylvania. Our members each carry one half of a tente d'abri (shelter tent) and button two together to make 1 tent for 2 men. In fair weather, we don't use tents at all, preferring to sleep out under the stars.
We are a new unit, at the ground level, and are learning the French Drill of the period as quick as we find information on it (in English OR French)!
