Face of Jesus
Have mercy on us, O Lord

The Sign of the Cross
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Confiteor
I confess to Almighty God, to blessed Mary ever Virgin, to blessed Michael the Archangel, to
blessed John the Baptist, to the holy Apostles Peter and Paul, and to all the saints, that I have
sinned exceedingly in thought, word, and deed, through my fault, through my fault, through my
most grievous fault. Therefore, I beseech blessed Mary ever Virgin, blessed Michael the
Archangel, blessed John the Baptist, the holy Apostles Peter and Paul, and all the saints, to pray
to the Lord our God for me.
May Almighty God have mercy on me, forgive me my sins, and bring me to everlasting life. Amen.
May the Almighty and merciful Lord grant me pardon, absolution, and remission of all my sins. Amen.

Act of Contrition
O my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended You, and I detest all my sins, because I dread the loss of heaven and the pains of hell, but most of all because they offend You, my God, who
are all good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve, with the help of Your grace, to
confess my sins, to do penance, and to amend my life. Amen.

Apostle's Creed
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth;
and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, Our Lord;
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried.
He descended into the dead;
the third day He arose again;
He ascended into heaven, seated at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty;
from where He shall come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the Holy Catholic Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and life everlasting. Amen.

Lord's Prayer
Our Father in heaven,
holy be your name.
Your kingdom come,
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread,
forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us.
Do not bring us to the test
but deliver us from evil.
For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours,
now and forever. Amen.

Hail Mary
Hail Mary, full of grace! The Lord is with you.
Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Glory Be
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be,
world without end. Amen.

Act of Faith
O my God, I firmly believe that You are one God in three Divine Persons, Father, Son and Holy
Spirit; I believe that Your divine Son became man, and died for our sins, and that He will come
to judge the living and the dead. I believe these and all the truths which the Holy Catholic
Church teaches, because You have revealed them, who can neither deceive nor be deceived.

Act of Hope
O my God, relying on Your almighty power and infinite mercy and promises, I hope to obtain
pardon of my sins, the help of Your grace, and life everlasting, through the merits of Jesus
Christ, my Lord and Redeemer.

Act of Love
O my God, I love You above all things, with my whole heart and soul, because You are all-good and worthy of all love. I love my neighbour as myself for the love of You. I forgive all who
have injured me, and ask pardon of all whom I have injured.

Prayer of St Ignatius
O Lord,
teach me to be generous,
teach me to serve you as you deserve,
to give and not to count the cost
to fight and not to heed the wounds
to toil and not to seek for rest
to labour and not to seek reward
save that of knowing
I do Your most holy will.
St. Ignatius of Loyola

Prayer for Peace
Lord, make me an instrument of Your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
Where there is sadness, joy.

Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
to be consoled, as to console;
to be understood, as to understand;
to be loved, as to love;
for it is in giving that we receive,
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
St. Francis of Assisi

                Pour forth, we beseech You, O Lord, Your grace into
                our hearts, that we to whom the Incarnation of Christ,
                Your Son, was made known by the message of an angel,
                may by His passion and cross be brought to the glory
                of his resurrection, through the same Christ Our Lord.

                Jesus Christ, has vouchsafed to make glad the whole
                world, we beseech You, that, through the
                intercession of the Virgin Mary, His Mother, we may
                attain the joys of eternal life. Through the same Christ
                Our Lord. Amen.

Salve Regina (Hail Holy Queen) usually at the end of the rosary
Hail Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy,
hail our life our sweetness and our hope.
To you do we cry, poor banished children of Eve;
To you do we send up our sighs,
mourning and weeping in this valley of tears.
Turn then, most gracious advocate,
your eyes of mercy toward us and after this our exile
show unto us the blessed fruit of your womb, Jesus.
O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary!
V-  Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God
R-  That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

Let us pray :
O God, by the life, death and resurrection of Your only begotten Son,
You purchased for us the rewards of eternal life;
grant, we beseech You that while meditation on these mysteries of the Holy Rosary,
we may imitate what they contain and obtain what they promise.
Through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.

Memorare
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your
protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession was left unaided. Inspired with this
confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy hear and answer me. Amen.

Anima Christi
Soul of Christ, be my sanctification
Body of Christ, be my salvation
Blood of Christ, fill my veins
Water from Christ's side, wash out my stains
Passion of Christ, my comfort be
O good Jesus, listen to me
in Your wounds, I fain would hide
never to be parted from Your side.
Guard me should the foe assail me,
call me when my life should fail me.
Bid me come to You above
with all Your saints to sing Your love
world without end. Amen.

Prayer before a crucifix
Behold, O kind and most sweet Jesus, I cast myself upon my knees in Your sight and with the most fervent desire of my soul I pray and beseech You that You would impress upon my heart lively sentiments of faith, hope and charity, with true repentance for my sins and a firm desire of amendment, while with deep affection and grief of soul I ponder within myself and mentally contemplate Your five most precious wounds; having before my eyes that which David spoke in prophecy of You, O good Jesus; they have pierced my hands and my feet; they have numbered all my bones.

Angel of God
Angel of God, my guardian dear
to whom His love commits me here
ever this day be at my side
to light and guard
to rule and guide.

Daily Offering
Eternal Father, I offer you everything I do this day; my thoughts, words, joys and sufferings.
Grant that vivified by the Holy Spirit and united to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, my life this day may be of service to You and to others.
I also offer all these in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for all the causes You have at heart, in reparation for my sins, for our associates and for the Holy Father's prayer intentions for this month. Amen.
