| 2. LINKS If you wold like to put a link from our club to your site, make sure that you have one from your site to ours. We delete links that don't link back to us. Only one link per person and that link should be to your personal site. |
| 1. BADMOUTHING/COMPLAINTS THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT RULE IN THE CLUB. We don't allow the badmouthing of ANYONE in the board, even if they have done something horrible against you. Members, though, are WELCOME to inquire politely the doings of others. For example, if someone fails to ship you the merchandise you ordered, post on the board "Ploni, why haven't you shipped my merchandise after I paid you...etc.". Management welcomes constructive criticism as long as it comes as a friendly advice. If a member will come over with anger attacking anyone (including us), messages will be deleted and possibly, the member too. Sometimes we delete messages that are border of the line, (i.e., you would not consider offensive), but please be understanding, what is not offensive to one is to another. So, if we do delete your message, don't take it personnaly. We have fought with several members in the past because of that and then became friends again. Finally, we are focusing on running this club on a broad scale and don't always have time to deal with every individual complaint or problem. We really care about everyone but understand our limitations. |
| 3. PHOTO ALBUMS Members are welcome to put up pictures of their bettas into our Photos section. All albums are public property and members are allowed to put pictures in, even though the album carries someone else's name. The title of the album should reflect the names of all who have pictueres in, if possible. When posting a picture, if the betta was not bred by you, it's appreciated if you post at the bottom of the picture who was the breeder. Additional Photos albums can be created at the Betta Genetics club. |
| 4. BETTA PICTURE CONTEST We conduct picture contest twice a year. The following are the rules of the contest: a) The picture must be of a live betta you currently posses (honorary system), weather it was bred or purchased by you. b) The betta was not in a prior contest. c) Each member allowed to enter up to 2 different bettas for each category (Ex. red females are one category). d) Pictures are to be entered with it's title stating it's location in the album. Ex. the second to last picture of the first page is #11. If someone messes up the order, just pick up the next #. e) If the betta was bred by someone else, state that on "description" of the picture (2nd text entry). f) You are allowed to vote on your own if you think it's the nicest one. g) The contest is done in the main club; winning pictures will be transferred to betta breeders profiles. h) All members are welcome to vote. The voting will be done in the BettaS Group . Each member is allowed to vote on up to 3 bettas, per category. The bettas with the most votes win. Your decision is based on which betta you think it's the nicest, regardless of rules/standards set up by other groups. |

| 5. ADVERTISING IN OUR CLUB Please, refrain from posting invitations to another general club and other advertisements in our message board. We do allow, however, invitations to a local club. If you have a question if your posting complies with our "rules" ask before posting. |
