MICK HURD bio

Michael Hurd Theatre Designer - trained at Central School of Art. - designed : ´An Interview With Lucifer,  Perhaps´  and `Amy´ a film about Amy Johnson. -designed interior of Stephen Jone´s hat shop (under PX,  Endell Street, Covent Garden) - concurrently doing windows for several London Shops + theatre design assitant. - Not very excited about career at the moment - More involved in run-off-the-mill aspects of profession,  like painting cardboard wedding cakes.  ´ I wish I was designing the sets myself rather than assisting.  I´m trying to find a casting couch.`                                                                     VIZ MAGAZINE - 1981
