| Unloyal Words of Kindness | ||||||||||||||
| I've been around the phone all the day, finding friends to see what they would say. I begged of them random words of kindness. Unloyal as they are, let it be, don't take it serious. I don't care if my friends are honest, their words soothe my heart and give me momentary peacefulness. When the effects die away I find my friends again for the same purpose, to indulge in their words in a state of faintness. Lord, don't make me come to my senses. If you do, I'll have to face life-long loneliness. |
