Directions:

Fr Grand Coulee, drive 6 mi S on Hwy 155 to several areas near the shore of Banks Lake (bouldering on N shore of 2nd cove, cragging at Highway Rock / Northrup Cyn Rd across from rest area and at Steamboat Rock State Park. Also Eagle Rock and other isles offer good climbing by boat.

Notes:

Steamboat Rock is a columnar basaltic rock rising 1,000' above Banks Lake...and a natural landmark used by pilots. Though a climbing backwater, this area has a lot of unclimbed rock...above and below the water. Granite has a tendency to be crumbly. Warm, desert area.
