Directions: In Index. Upper Town Walls: obvious, largest wall above
town. Park at area adjacent to Jct of road opposite city park and NW side of RR
tracks. Then cross tracks to N and hike trail past boulder field to Upper
Walls). Lower Town Wall (quickest access): 1 mi W on paved rd to a right turn
into parking lot w/trashed milk truck. Camping along the river
Notes: One of Washington's finest crags perched above the green
forests of the scenic Skykomish River. Sheer, black and white stained walls rain
with steep crack climbs. Stout ratings. Beware the spells of abundant
precipitation.
