Directions:

Fr Leavenworth, a few miles E on Hwy 2 just past Dryden N and visible from rd. Follow signs from Hwy 2 onto N Dryden Rd ~0.3 mi past apple orchards to gate. Main formations of Peshastin Pinnacles include: Orchard Rock, Martian Tower/Slab, Dinosaur Tower, Sunset Slab, Grand Central Tower, and Sickle Slab.

Notes:

Magical, cream-colored sandstone slabs and pinnacles tilt their backs above luscious apple orchards. Peshastin Pinnacles is the well-known, "dry" area of Leavenworth. Friable sandstone rock, e.g., 50' Trigger Finger Spire (toppled in 2/1978). Access Fund purchase re-opened area. Washington's first climbing park managed by State Parks. Gate closes at dusk. In Sept-Oct., apple orchards yield their bounty.
