Directions:

Fr Spokane, drive 30 min W on Hwy 291 past town of Tum Tum. Continue W to Tum Tum Canyon, turn R (sharp diagonal) at houses. And just beyond (5.8 mi from town) is Indian Painted Rocks before Corkscrew Canyon Rd.

Steep, overhanging granite for pump prospecting. Scenic recreational lake area.
