Fr Washington's Pass, go 10 min E down Hwy 2 at signed pullout. Approaches are via Willow Creek or Cedar Creek Routes - five hours. The Wine Spires consist of (N>S) Burgundy, Chianti, Pernod, and Chablis Spires. Kangaroo Ridge is to the S.

Notes:

Overlooked because of nearby Liberty Bell, this glaciated mountain fortress impresses traveler's E of Washington Pass. Silver Star Mountain (8,876') is highest formation.
