We are from the N.S.W university town of Armidale where the greatest football code in Australia is making a scene and are also diehard fans of the Dockers despite recent performances because we feel they know how to play with the loyalty and pride every team should
They have showed their will to fight against adversity this season and we, as their greatest fans in the Eastern States, are still hopeful that the team will come through with a few wins this season.
It is because of them that we watch Australian Rules in an area of Australia where rugby league rules the roost, and cheer loudly and proudly for the likes of Tony Modra, Clive Waterhouse and Dale Kickett.
We've had some near wins this year, most notably a one point loss against premiership contenders Carlton in round one (we hate the Blues as much as anybody, don't worry about that!).
We will continue to barrack for the Dockers through thick and thin, the good times and the bad, until our team reachs our first AFL final when they will, as underdogs have shown the rest of the league what the true spirit of the Fremantle Dockers is all about.
