![]() G ary Kelly !Nothing in life is mere coincidence! Crossing from the Mexican side to the American side, I heard the voice of a man asking someone if they spoke English. When I heard no response, I returned to see that the question was being asked to a policeman, which through his silence indicated that he did not understand English. I offered my services as a non professional translator and that is how I met him. Actually, Gary is a faithful sponsor of "Friendly Hands Ministries". Gary lives in Russellville, AR. He is a member of Russellville Christian Center, one of the fastest growing churches in his city. He travels from Russelville to Laredo to bring us clothes, shoes and articles that are given to families needing them. "Thanks Gary"

"Ministry needs" One of the areas in which all ministries suffer most is that of economics. Friendly Hands is no exception, since there has not been one person to commit themselves on a regular basis. We understand that this is a ministry of faith and it shall go forth with the support of brothers and sisters that offer their services voluntarily. But to fulfill a better ministry, we need your support so much as in prayer as in your offerings of love. We also need carpentry tools as most of the accomplished jobs have been done..........!practically with bare hands and nothing else! Needs of the ministry: Hammers, handsaws, electric circular saws, table saw, air compressor (prefferably gasoline) and one of our dreams we hope will become reality is to have a 4x8 enclosed trailer. (many of the accomplishments we have thus far in the personal, family and at the church level began only as a dream). We belive that with Gods help and the support of persons such as yourselves who feel the calling to serve, "It can be done!" |
