| Jennifer Aniston was born February 11, 1969 in Sherman Oaks, California. She was born into a Greek family to John Aniston, commonly known for his role as a Days of Our Lives Star, and Nancy Aniston, former model. Her godfather was Terry Salvas. She attended the Rudolf Steiner School where at age 11, she painted a painting which was displayed in the NY Metropolitan Museum of Art. In 1987, she graduated from the High School for the Performing Arts and even had a few roles in off-Broadway productions such as For Dear Life and Dancing on Checker's Grave. Before landing her hit role as Rachel Karen Green on Friends, Jennifer was on a few other TV series that were flops. She debuted on TV in 1989 in the short-lived series Molloy. She also was in an unsuccessful attempt to turn Ferris Bueller's Day Off into a sitcom. In 1991, she landed a recurring role on Herman's Head which led her to a small part on The Ben Stiller Show in 1993. 1994 rolled around and she auditions for FRIENDS. Originally auditioining for the role of Monica Geller, she was casted as Rachel Karen Green. From this series, came her famous hairdo known as the "Rachel" and ten years of glorious laughter and sweet cherishable memories. Jennifer began dating Brad Pitt circa 1998-1999. On July 29, 2000, in Malibu, CA they were wed as husband and wife. They've already been married for 3 yers and are still going strong! |
