601 The One After Vegas Are they or aren't they? Not even a hung-over Rachel or Ross seem to know if they're legally married as they bounce around Las Vegas while Monica and Chandler desperately search the Strip for any providential sign that would indicate they are altar-bound. Meanwhile, Joey convinces Phoebe to drive back cross-country with him in his cab -- a long, strange trip indeed. 602 The One Where Ross Hugs Rachel Ross dithers over the legal status of his relationship with Rachel, then compounds his troubles when he seek's Phoebe's cockeyed romantic advice to sort it all out. At the same time, Monica and Chandler rehearse the best way to inform Rachel that they plan to move in together - unfortunately, she mistakenly believes that all three of them will share the same apartment a la "Three's Company." 603 The One With Ross's Denial Monica and Chandler bicker over their conflicting tastes in furtniture and bric a brac, but when they call off their plans to move in together, Ross swoops in to smooth things over between them--only because he wants to clear the way to share his own place with a now room-less Rachel. With Chandler gone, Joey must now advertise for his own "non-ugly" roommate in the classifieds. 604 The One Where Joey loses his insurance When Joey's health insurance expires due to lack of work, he quickly arranges a series of non-stop auditions hoping to regain his eligibility--which would come in real handy since he's dragging himself around with a monstrously painful hernia. Meanwhile, Ross still keeps an important secret from Rachel as he delivers a series of paleontological lectures at New York University with a fake and pompous British accent. Also, Phoebe wonders why her chatty coffee cashier always treats her liked used filter grounds. 605 The One With Joey's Porsche An irate Rachel wants a contrite Ross to admit that he's mentally unstable in order to convince a judge to grant them a marriage annulment while Phoebe recruits some of the gang to babysit her triplets--one of them who proves to be habitually foul-tempered. Meanwhile, Joey finds a set of keys to a Porsche and enjoys the newfound adulation and improved status -- until the owner shows up. 606 The One On The Last Night As Monica helps Rachel pack up to move in with Phoebe, the old roommates merrily recall their time together. But their trip down memory lanes a rocky detour when they hurl barbs back and forth over each other's laughable habits and quirks. In another apartment, Chandler also bids goodbye to a cash-poor Joey, but he gallantly decides to pad his longtime roomie's bank account by betting and deliberately losing to him in various games. 607 The One Where Phoebe Runs A mortified Rachel regrets asking Phoebe to jog with her when she attracts unwanted attention with her gangly and uncoordinated movements while Chandler moves everything while cleaning the apartment he's now sharing with neatnik Monica -- but then can't remember where to put it all back. Meanwhile, Joey welcomes a sexy new roommate and eagerly counts down the hours until he can ask her out. 608 The One With Ross's Teeth A blushing Rachel is busted when she passes on a rumor that her boss, fashion designer Ralph Lauren, made a romantic pass at Phoebe in the copying room, while Joey gets a macho pep talk from Chandler on how to resist his new roommate's girly redecoration scheme. Meanwhile, Ross decides to bleech his own teeth and then can't wait for his blind date that night -- until he looks in the mirror and see his new glow-in-the-dark whitened teeth. 609 The One Where Ross Got High When Monica invites the gang and her parents over for Thanksgiving dinner, Chandler freaks when he discovers they don't know that he's living with their daughter. Making matters worse, Monica's parents can't stand Chandler because of a lie Ross once told them. Meanwhile, Ross and Joey plot to steal away from the dinner in time to hook up with Janine and her hottie dancer friends, and Rachel tests her puny culinary skills by concoting a repulsive dessert. 610 The One With The Routine While Janine gets a gig dancing on a New Year's Eve television special, she invites Joey, Monica, and Ross to the advance taping -- where Joey hopes to kiss Janine at "midnight" while Monica and Ross embarass themselves with their uncoordinated, outdated dancing. Back at home, Phoebe and Rachel plunder Monica's apartment and other sites for an advance peek at her Christmas gifts for them while Chandler stands by. 611 The One With The Apothecary Table Joey finally has a good thing going with Janine, his shapely roommate, but he is thoroughly angered by her snobby attitude and utter contempt for Monica, Chandler, and the rest of his friends -- a righteous rage that lasts until she kisses him again. Down the hall, Rachel stages an elaborate ruse to fool Phoebe into thinking that her cutesy apothecary table is an antique straight from a flea market, not a knockoff from a store in the mall. 612 The One With The Joke Ross and Chandler bicker over the authorship of a joke which Ross successfully submitted to Playboy while Monica fumes as she forces Phoebe to choose between herself and Rachel to determine which of them would make the better girlfriend. Meanwhile, a cash-poor Joey ponders how he would keep a low profile if he accepts an offer to become a waiter at the coffee house. 613 The One With Rachel's Sister Rachel's free-spending sister arrives hoping to temporarily move in with Rachel after mooching off their forgiving father, but Jill's flirtation with Ross has Rachel worried that romantic sparks will arc between her little sister and former boyfriend. In addition, a sickly Monica is too ill to work but has enough strength left to try to seduce Chandler, and new coffee house waiter Joey uses the lure of free food to score easy dates with pretty customers. 614 The One Where Chandler Can't Cry A jealous Rachel forces Ross to cancel his date with her kid sister Jill but makes the mistake of confessing to Jill, which only infuriates her and providers her with a challenge to frustrate her sister's wishes. Meanwhile, a stunned Phoebe discovers why everyone is mistaking her for a porno star, and Monica and Joey are flabbergasted to learn that Chandler hasn't been moved enough to cry about anything since he was a kid. 615 The One That Could Have Been All the friends ponder what might have been if each had taken a different path in life and they imagine: that a frustrated Ross stays with his wife Carol and ignores her disinterest in him; a married Rachel is starstruck when she meets hunky "Days of Our Lives" star Joey who never lost his job as Dr. Drake Ramoray; Phoebe is a corporate stock broker; and a portly Monica frets about losing her virginity while Chandler is a struggling writer who stoop to working as Joey's lowly assistant just to make ends meet. 616 The One With The Unagi Chandler buys an anniversary gift for Monica, but when she reminds him that they promised to make the gifts themselves, he scrambles to find something that looks homemade -- and accidentally gives her a gift he was given by an ex-girlfriend. Meanwhile, a cash-challenged Joey hires a lookalike fellow actor to pose as his twin so he can qualify for a medical experiment, and a mechnically challenged Rachel wants to prove to Ross that she can fix a sink just as well as he can. 617 The One Where Ross Dates a Student Ross flirts with danger and risks his job when he toys with dating one of his attractive students while Phoebe and Rachel seek shelter with Monica and Chandler after Rachel's curling iron starts a fire that partially burns their apartment -- and gets them evicted. A few feet away, Joey begs Chandler to ask a former female classmate who's now a famous director, to wangle an audition for him for her next film. 618 The One With Joey's Fridge When Rachel needs a date for a fashionable charity event, a determined Monica and Phoebe compete to see who can find the most eligible escort for her. In addition, Ross obesses over his new coed girlfriend's plans to spend spring break with her hedonistic buddies on a Florida beach. Elsewhere, Joey tries to con -- or shame -- each of his friends into buying him a new refridgerator to replace his busted appliance. 619 The One With Mac And C.H.E.E.S.E Joey continues to rehearse his biggest opportunity ever when he's one of the final candidates to star in a television series as a detective who solves crimes with his robot partner -- but his chances aren't improved when Chandler forgets to scribble down a message that his audition time has changed. Joey's ordeal prompts many memorable and bizarre flashbacks that seem to occur only to his circle of "Friends." 620 The One Where Ross Meets Elizabeth's Dad A nervous Ross dreads meeting the father of his college girlfriend so he recruits some of his friends along to buff up his image -- but he soon is weirded out by an unexpected romantic development. Elsewhere, Joey is excited about starring in a new TV series as a detective with a robot sidekick but his first encounter on the set with his metalhead co-star and handler proves disastrous. 621 The One Where Paul's The Man Even though the father of his coed girlfriend threatens to have him fired for dating one of his students, Ross secretly heads off with her to her family's mountain cabin but dives under a couch when Rachel and the dad suddenly arrive for their getaway weekend. Meanwhile, Chandler freaks out when he accidentally learns Monica has reserved a museum for their "wedding" when he's never proposed, and Joey matches wits with a wily dry cleaner in his bumbling crusade to get his framed photo mounted alongside other celebrities in the shop. 622 The One With The Ring Chandler takes a chance when he secretly asks Phoebe to help him choose a special ring, but when she is too distracted at the jewelry store to help him at his moment of need. Elsewhere, Rachel regrets urging her new beau, Paul, to express his feelings, prompting him to gush with tortured memories, while Ross and Joey fret over having hurt Chandler's feelings by not asking him to a basketball game. 623 The One With The Proposal Guest star Tom Selleck reprises his role of Richard, Monica's handsome former boyfriend, when he accidentally encounters his old flame along with her nervous, tongue-tied beau, Chandler, at a romantic restaurant.
