Friends' writers consider 'tragic death' for Rachel

The writers of Friends may be planning a tragic death for one of its stars, according to an American magazine.
Star magazine says Jennifer Aniston's pregnant character Rachel may die while giving birth to her love child.
But the tragedy is just one of three 'sensational' storylines being considered by the writers.
A show insider told Star: "There's never been a heartrending Friends episode like this before. It will be the most shocking scene ever played out on TV.
"Dying Rachel will tell Ross, the baby's father; that their closest friends, Monica and Chandler should raise the baby girl as their own."
It is not yet known when the tragic episode will be broadcast.
