2 ALARM STRUCURE FIRE
WITH ENTRAPMENT ( FATALITY)

03:05 Dispatched for a reported strutcure fire in the 300 block of S Pearl Street, First Chief on the scene at 03:09 with a working fire with confirmed entrapment. 0310 Chief Jeffery Requesting a second alarm added to the box adding 2 engines a truck and a R.I.T responce as well additional ems to the scene. First Engine on the E-11 placed two 1 3/4 line into the address, second engine in E-21 placed 2 1 3/4 lines into 316 straite to the attic area as well as 1  1 3/4 line to 312, with an additional line from E-51. Truck 34 placed ladders to all corners of the structure and provided roof work, as you can see was interesting to say the lease. Search by E-11 was swift locating the victim, but do to fire conditions it was orderd by command to let be and secure the floor. The team then when to work attemting to extibushed the third division that gave the greatest problem. The fire was under control in about 35 minutes and concidered out with extensive overhaul at or a little after 0400. The guys did an outstanding job knocking down a fire that could have made a nice size parking lot.
