We would like to work with you to design an opportunity that will help you to be successful in utilizing your gifts, talents and knowledge, while learning about life in Pasac. We need committed, self-initiating volunteers in the following areas:     Teaching English as a second language     Fund-raising     Construction work     Journalists to research for, write for and maintain newsletter     Educational health seminars (in Spanish)     Health teachers (Spanish speaking)     Sustainable Community Development Specialists There are lots of other volunteer needs! Many are coordination and project development needs which must be completed outside of Guatemala. Attend a Benefit Dinner. Every Thursday at 8 p.m. in Casa Argentina on Diagonal 12, Zona 1 (Quetzaltenango, Guatemala), volunteers prepare a special, all vegetarian dinner. All proceeds are split between the educational project of Pasac Segundo and a longstanding project helping street kids; Escuela de la Calle. Every other Thursday, community members from Pasac Segundo come out to cook a traditional indigenous meal. It's a great time to learn, meet them, and to spend time with friends.
