Salutations from P.K.'s world

Let me start by thanking you for visiting my web site. I am a Canadian Dutchman, originally from the Nederlands, in the small village of Joure. I immigrated to Canada in 1952 as a young lad. My adventures in the dog world began with beagles that I trialed for many years, but due to knee injury I was forced to switch my game to the Conformation side of dogs. My first presentation was with a German Shepherd, then on to Collies, Shelties and many others to numerous to mention.

******* A few years ago, I was at a Specialty for English Pointers and was offered a wonderful female named Poly. This dog became my traveling companion and Show Specials' Bitch. She won many awards and we both had fun times in the ring, until that fateful day when she developed the "mysterious" disease Epilepsy and I had to make the decision to lay her to rest. Poly will always be remembered by many of my colleagues as the friendly bouncy Pointer ready to have fun in the ring! ******* As a retired Professional Handler, I have enjoyed presenting many breeds registered with the CKC, AKC & Rare breed clubs in Canada and the U.S.A. I have also had the pleasure of judging Jr. Handlers (my favorite) and at Sanctioned/Fun Matches. I am proud to say that this is my 38th year as a CKC lifetime member and hope to be around to reach my 40th. *******

Currently I am sharing my life and love for dogs with my companion, Joyce Pal. Joyce is a retired breeder of Doberman and German Pinschers, and currently spreading her expertise and love in the Yorkie world. Her love for animals makes our relationship a joyous event. We have known each other for many years and realized our fate in 1998, to grow together with our same interests . Presently we are the proud owners of Raggs & Chelsea Our Yorkies and our new addition Jenna our min long haired dachshund Palakore's Get Of My Cloud

My other interests include, our grandchildren, computers, fishing & golfing, but most of all, my handling assignments in the DOG WORLD! Joyce and I are currently working for THE PET SUPPLY HOUSE Ltd., as Booth Managers at the shows across Canada. Our experience with dogs helps us to satisfy all our customers, and I might add, with great pleasure!
