Am/Cdn Ch. Stilwithem Polo
"Poly"

One of our traveling
trailer show dogs. This dog was amazing,
so lovable and enjoyed doing the circuit.
Polly's attitude was wonderful, she welcomed anyone willing
to visit her, canine or human. She loved the quiet moments snuggled in
bed with her human MOM, and running the rings with DAD!
Unfortunately due to a unforeseen serious illness,
Polly is now awaiting our arrival the
Pearly Gates.

Cdn.Ch.Rucon's Blaze Chancellor W.C.
                                                   "BLAZE"
04 Aug. 1990 - 06 Nov. 2001

Blaze was known as the little fellow that was "rescued"
at 10 mths. of age from the local OSPCA after the family he was sold to declared
him to be a destructive puppy.
Thankfully his breeder Colin Stillwell was well
known and respected by the OSPCA so
they called Colin right away to ask if
this puppy was his..
To Colin's surprise, it was. Upon his arrival, Colin could see that
this pup had been abused, and was sure grateful that he was
surrendered to the society.
Once the Rucon gang was able to assess the situation, Colin wondered how Blaze would react to training both in
the Field Trials, Conformation and Obedience.
Blaze proved that he could be the wonderful dog that he was bred to be!
In July of 1991, Colin entered Blaze in his first CKC Conformation Show,  as a  Sr. Puppy. The night before Blaze was to be put on the judging block,  Peter Keuning saw Blaze
and it was love at first sight! Unknown to Colin, Peter was preparing to
"show" Blaze! When Colin was venturing up to ringside, a comment from
someone was heard:  "Oh yes, you got the big guns out". This person was talking about Peter who was standing behind Colin all dressed up ready to show "A DOG ???", well you guessed it, that dog would be Blaze!
From then on the "doggie love affair" began and will last forever!
Blaze quickly earned his Cdn. Ch.and many group placements,  and by the time he was 2 years of age, earned is W.C. (working certificate) . With Blaze the harder the retrieve the better he liked it and never lost a bird in his life!
At age 8 & 9 yrs. he was the LOC's Veteran dog winner.
At Stud Duty (another love of his life), he would either walk away or do a little stud dance and give a look of "OK where is she"..
Another love of Blaze's life was Sara Rowbotham, on numerous occasions, he would purposely tease Sara, either blocking her view from watching a horse race on t.v. or dropping in the ring, rolling over and playing dead, just as the judge would glance their way!
Blaze will be missed tremendously by all who knew him, especially the
Stillwell family and Peter (buddy and handler).
Rest in peace friend, all your aches and pains are over.
Sit at the gate, and wait for us, we will be there soon!

**Rambeau**
Ch. Balove DON JUAN DeBaviere

Nov.18th,1989 - April 9th, 1993
Pictured above at 8 months old taking Best Puppy in Breed
with Harold Butler at the Chateauguay Valley Kennel Club Show
July 1990

< loved sucking on his blankie >
kept mom busy crocheting afghans!
Rambeau was Joyce's Knight is shiny armor,
He was originally bought as a PET from
Diane and Robert Dubois
Ram certainly  proved us
wrong when he excelled in the show ring.
Getting B.P.I.G.'s many BOB's BPIB's
and stood with his brother Boss and
Dad "Kanon" when his Dad received
Best Stud Dog/Get Award in Montreal
at the Doberman National Specialty for 1991 .
****
Ram as he was known to those who loved him, was
very stunning and stood proud. Unfortunately he
suffered from a horrible accident ,
(prolapsed lumbar disc sprain
that would have left him paralyzed )
(jumped off deck onto an ice covered path)
therefore  to save his dignity, our family had to make
the difficult decision of sending him to Doggie Heaven.
This dog was what every dobie breeder strives for:
OFA EXCELLENT, Thyroid Normal, vWD clear (105),
movement and angulation to die for !
****
His handlers, Harold Butler
and Scott MacCrimmon
will always remember the "cry" of the Ram at the shows.
Since Ram's passing, Scott (his show buddy) finds it
very difficult  entering the show ring. Just too many
joyous memories with Ram that no other dog can replace.
Too see both in the ring, one would understand why.
They glided together in unison, with full admiration for each other.
****
We still love and miss Ram and wait
for the day that we shall meet at the pearly gate.
We Know your "earth" number was called too soon, Ram,
but look forward to the day that we hear and  see
the "angel" steward  call you into that "show ring" in heaven.
Keep Watch my Love Until We Meet Again !
****
stay tuned for more "Rambeau" photos to come
some with Scott and some just goofing around.
(Mom still has to unpack the box with pixs in it)

***BRANDI***

Brandi was Kucsapal's first dam that produced
3 beautiful litters !
Scooter is one of her gorgeous sons.
Bud is her grandson! Here she is relaxing

just days before her 3rd litter..

ACARI BO VALENTINO DE BAVIERE
Feb. 14th, 1988 - Dec. 15th 1997

Bo came to us via Diane Dubois on a trial basis. Bo was placed in several
homes and just couldn't seem to get along with women. Well lo and
behold we had 3 women living in our home, myself and2 daughters and
never did Bo show any signs of discomfort. We took our time and
socialized him on a one to one basis with many people, and for the
life of me i couldn't understand why anyone would want to part with such
a lovable dog. Bo excelled in obedience and agility and became the class clown of
the Hilltop K-9 Agility team. His big debut was being the Agility demo dog for
the intermission entertainment section of the Ottawa Kennel Club
"SHOW OF SHOWS" in 1994 ???
He did everything HE wanted to do - no more no less! As the crowd roared
he performed! Bo was a great protector, guarding litters of puppies,
the cat, the hamster and any other creature that ventured into our lives.
He loved to be treated as a human, dressing in full attire or snuggling
under the bed covers. As he matured, he started showing signs of
old age, bones were creaking, loss of control of the fire hose,
but, the mind was still  making dates that the body couldn't keep. On that
dreadful day when we awoke to find Bo sleeping on the kitchen floor,
(keep in mind this dog would never ever  sleep on the floor before this)
we knew this was going to be the time when he would look in
our eyes and ask us to let him go...that was the worst Christmas
we ever had, no celebrations were to be had. As much
as we knew that Bo wouldn't have wanted us to fret over
him, we couldn't find it in our hearts to enjoy the season
without him sitting by the tree staring at the Bone cookie ornaments !
Of course, we know, that he is resting at the same place
where all good doggies go. And i am willing to bet that
he has the gang laughing and playing as he did
while we shared him here on earth.

OUR PRECIOUS BO-BO

Setting his journey in a world high above
where the roads are paved with paw prints
his undying gratitude forever told !

A knight in shining armor, our Precious Bo
A perfect gentleman with so much class,
He came into our lives giving memories to last
A generous heart just wanting to please
A friend you can count on, the pain he could ease
Loving us unconditionally!

His courage unmeasured when guarding his ground
In Agility he was always seen clowning around.
He can out run Lacy Magoo, if given the chance
With a delightful skip and a cheerful dance.
He was one of a kind!

He touched our lives with so much care
Our grief would not be spared
The love he gave we could not share

                      Never Another Our Precious Bo'
Til we meet again.
