Pete "Dave Lewis" McDonald is the
Assistant Coach and the vocal leader of the Friday
Knights. McDonald’s boundless energy and vocal
leadership are his trademark talents, and although a
"newcomer" to the sport in HockeyTown terms, he
has an uncanny ability to get the puck past the
goaltenders (not always on the first shot, but any goalie
unfortunate enough to cough up a re-bound finds all 200-lbs
of muscle and energy coming their way at full speed. As
right wing for the Production Line, Pete has surprising
speed for a guy with bowling ball tucked neatly under his
garter belt, and woe to the defenseman who gives him just
one step. Pete’s rifling wrist shot has put him on
the scoreboard in many games this season and his
improving ability to stickhandle and carry the puck from
end to end has made him a decent threat. Despite these
talents, McDonald is best known for his presence on the
bench and in the locker room. His "HEY"! and
"JOOOOOOOEEEY!!!" have been clocked in at over
110 decibels. |
