Mike has been in a
fight in virtually every game he played in this year. In
the past he has played a very strong defense. Somewhere
along the line, he dreamed he was Paul Coffey/Steve
Benninger and decided he can skate the puck all the way
behind the other net. Sometimes he will get a shot off
and he did pass once. (all 5 guys on the other team were
on him). Next year, we will hope Mike returns to his
strength. Mike's
speed and acceleration are very impressive. You can
actually hear him skate down the ice and chips are flying
up behind him like a roostertail. Stopping and steering
are a matter he will have to work on next year.
