Bowman were both bitterly disappointed when Carl snubbed
the team and decided to only play as a sub. His contract
offer in Europe paid slightly more. His exceptional skill
made them overlook the snub and he has been allowed to
play whenever he feels like it (twice). As a result of
the snub, Carl may have to pay extra to play in the pre-season
Friday Knight pickup games and he will certainly be
defending against Marty the whole season. Carl's the tallest player on the team - and has proven the adage "the taller they are the harder (and faster) they fall" . . . During the pre-season, Carl's dedication to the team was called into question when he missed a game due to the birth of a child. He managed to weasel out of any serious punishment by naming the baby Steven Thomas Peter Sullivan. |
