Magnum contines to do well.  He is still on glucosomine.  He does have episodes of being off the leg from time to time, usually only a day or 2.  This is his favorite time of year, of course, lake time!!!  He gets to go swimming often in the summer and that is his very favorite thing in the whole world next to any kind of FOOD!!!!!  He recently got into some cat food that my son was supposed to put away.   He had some pretty loose stools for a day or two.  Couldn't figure out why he wasn't barking and being totally annoying about getting his breakfast the other day.   Then the next day my daughter mentioned that the dogs had gotten into and eaten all the cat food and the light went on.

Mag has trouble getting up and down, it takes him a few seconds and you can tell it bothers him.  He also has trouble getting up on the couch and, sometimes, if one of us is sitting nearby, we'll help him up.

His second favorite place to be is on the couch in front of the fireplace when there's a fire going.  If you start a fire in the fireplace, it won't be long before Magnum shows up to lay in front of it.  If someone is sitting on the couch, he'll just stand there looking very pitiful until you make room for him.  He's quite the guy.  He will be 6 years old this fall, already.  How time flies!   His muzzle is getting white and it reminds me that we won't have him forever so I'll enjoy him now, while he's here.
