Magnum is off his leg again. Today is Tuesday, it started Saturday night. He was due for his Adequan shot today but I gave it to him Saturday night to see if it would help. It hasn't helped at all. I don't know what happened. He went for a walk Saturday with my daughter and her fiancee, like he usually does. They didn't report anything unusual happening on their walk. He has only toe touched a few times since Saturday night.
We're going to the vet today to have the leg checked out. I'm guessing it's the arthritis again but usually he is walking again after 2 days, it's unusual for him to be off it this long. I gave him a Rimadyl last night and it didn't seem to help at all either. We've been putting warm packs on it 3 times a day too. That is supposed to be good for arthritis.
I'm really bummed about this. He was doing so well. It was so nice to see him running and playing on the beach again. |
