Midnight Pictures
Erica was riding Midnight this morning with a halter and lead rope.  Chester, the mini, is in the foreground.  Midnight doesn't quite know what to think about Chester.  He follows him around some and sniffs at him.

Midnight is a 16.2 rattail Appy.  Most people think he's ugly but I still think he's cute.  He will never win a conformation class but he's a good horse.  His trot is actually pretty smooth.
Here's Midnight in the little pasture.  Everybody is watching Kasha finish her breakfast.  Zoie and Chester are standing by the gate and Fiasco is behind Midnight.
Erica is spraying him with bug spray.  It's a mixture we mixed up for the horses.  As you can see, he doesn't really have a tail so he can't swish off too many bugs.   I've already gotten teased about my hair being longer than my horses tail.  He doesn't have much for a main and only a few hairs for his forelock.  I don't have to worry about combing them then.
Here's my boy with Erica.  The kids at Oaklawn are mostly Spanish.  Three years ago they started calling him The Ugly Big.  Nate corrected their grammar and they called him The Big Ugly.  My nickname for him is Mignight Charlie Horse.  Mostly because I get lots of Charlie Horses lately.  Probably because of the fibromyalgia.   All the kids over there liked Midnight and Nate says they'll miss him.  Nate also likes him and wanted him to go to me partly so he could keep an eye on him and visit him.   He says Midnight is a good horse too.
