Mountain Spring is located in the foothills of the Mountain range that dominates Southern Valeria. The southern sky of the small village is lite up at night by the Tower of Rythor. It was built at the site of an ancient well. What ever existed before is complete gone, but even in the driest season, the well
always contains cool, pure water.
In recent years, it has become most notable for it's Temple to Lightonia. The Children of the Light guard the temple. It is where many of the Children of the Light live until they adapt to the sunlight of the surface world. The townsfolk are very tolerant, and actual welcome the Children with open arms. The
temple is rumored to contain a Relic of Lightonia, a wooden staff, that constantly emits light and never burns out. |
