Races
Personality:
Iguandons have a tendency to be stubborn and very focused. They think everything out very carefully. Once they have decided on a course of action, or made up their minds on how they feel about something, it is virtually impossible to get them to change it. They rarely admit when they wrong. They are generally a very serious people and not prone to frivality. They are also very distrustful of outsiders.

Physical Desciptions:
Iguandons are normally larger then humans. They stand 6 to 7 feet tall and average around 350 pounds. They have tails that give them excellent balance despite their lack of dexterity and claws that they imploy for fighting when no weapons are available. They have an extra set of clear eyelids that protect their eyes and allow them to see, even in the fierce desert storms that cross their homelands. Their eyes are generally yellow, red, or pure black.  They are covered in thick durable scales over their entire bodies and males of the species have a ridge of flexible scales that stand upright. This ridge of scales run from the tops of their heads to the tip of their tails. Their scales can be blue, green, yellow, or brown and define their place in their society. Iguandons have the ability to live as long as 400 to 500 years, but due to the harsh enviroment they prefer to live in, they seldom live that long.

Relations:
Iguandons are more excepting of other reptillian races and races that thrive in desert enviroments. They get along well with dwarves as they see the dwarven stubborn nature as a good point about the races. They feel that dwarves are a race that stick to their values. They are distrustful of any cold or water climate race.

Lands:
Iguanons rule the arid desert wastelands that most races don't want. It is rumored that thousands of years ago, the Iguandons dwelt in a lush tropical paradise but their homeland was destroyed and they were forced to adapt to the desert or perish. The green scaled Iguandons are the leaders and nobles of their society. They often dwell in vast sprawiling cities and are very social among their own race and social class. The most powerful green is a sultan and has a vast harem of females of all scale colors. This is the only exception to the strict class structure that the Iguandons live by. Blue Iguandons are normally Magic Users, Priests, and scholars. Yellow are the merchant class. Brown are generally serfs and slaves and normally not treated much better then cattle.

Religion:
Their is a specific Iguandon God, but they are also known to worship any god/goddess dealing with Strength or Battle.

Languages:
Iguandons can be versed in a variety of languages.  They do have their own language and it is relatively easy for outsiders to learn. They are often versed in other reptillian languages, dwarven, and common.
