Squirrels are hard working, fun loving, hoarders. They are generally welcome anywhere, but often watched very closely. They have a tendency to pick up thing, but are welcome because they are hard working and humble. They are renown for the fact they are constantly hoarding things, Squirrels will take or buy anything and everything since they might find a use for it later.
Personality:
Squirrels are fun loving and emotional creatures. They are normally very happy, or very mad and there isn't much in between. They are also known for being extremely impatient. They are very intelligent and often underestimated due to their small size. When pushed to fight, few can stand up to the feriousity of a squirrel
defending its home. They have no fear of other creatures, even those 3 times their size.
Physical Desciption:
Squirrels are much smaller then humans, generally 2 to 3 feet tall. They have pointy ears on top of their heads, whiskers that never stop growing, and large brown or black eyes. They hav elong bushy tails that help them stay balanced and a jumping ability that is second to none for their size. They are covered in dense, short fur that is usually red, brown, grey, or a combination of any of the 3.
Relations:
Squirrels get along with most other races. Tehy seem to have an effinity for rodent races. The only race they harbor deep hatred for is the Kitarians. They seem to prefer the company of other nature oriented races.
Alignment:
Due to their basic nature, very rare is the neutral aligned squirrel. They tend to be of the 4 extremes.
Squirrel Lands:
Squirrel are to some extent territorial, they tend to live near each other in family nests, and are ruled over by a council of the oldest and wisest among them. They have no lands per se, but squirrel towns are quite common.
Religion:
Squirrels are thought to be originally be the magical creation of a powerful wizard in the distant past, as a result, more worship the god of magic then any other diety, but they can be found to worship about any of the gods or goddesses.
Languages:
Squirrel generally speak common. They have no language of their own. They also pick up the local languages of where ever they might be living.
Adventurers:
Squirrel adventurers are very common. Due to their fun loving, hoarding, nature and a basic inate curiousity, they love to explore the world and experience exciting new things. Although not very strong, they are very dexterous and make okay warriors and excellent thieves. They also seem to have a natural affinity for magic.
