At the moment, there is only a very short length of "Stroudwater" canal open to boats at Saul. That length is for moorings.
Very soon though, due to the efforts of many dedicated people, the whole length from Saul Junction to Lechlade will again be opened up.

The Photo above left is of the old "Stroudwater" lock gates at "Saul Junction". The "Stroudwater" crosses the "Gloucester & Sharpness Canal", originaly taking the "Stroudwater" across to the River Severn.
So, the boats moored above Right are on the Lechlade side of the Junction, while the Lock Gates are on the River Severn side.
I hope you understand my way of putting it.
