| Models of "Stokie No1" by Dale Howlett. aged 14 |
| These models were built by a 13 year old lad named Dale Howlett, we met Dale two years ago while we were on Stokie at Norton Junction which is on the Southern Grand Union Canal, not far from his home in Weedon Northamptonshire. Dale builds these models using Balsa Wood, lengths of string, and any other oddments that might be laying around. His workshop is his mother & fathers living room floor. |

| On the left is a display that Dale had at a Britishwaterways office recently. In the display were many other canal boats that he had made. There are at least thirty in that display. You can inagine how proud we were that "Stokie" was to be the Centre Piece of that display. "Thank You Dale" from us both. |
