I am a 30-something woman who has diabetes (type I); has had a CVA in 1990; and also has a cerebral vascular  disease called "MoyaMoya".  I am just getting started on an insulin pump which is green.  IT is helping me to keep tighter reigns on my diabetes and keep better control.  To me, it's like having an external pancreas!  I first got into motorcycles in 1994 after returning from the North (Cape Dorset, NT) and got my license shortly thereafter.  I work with the general public as a Home Support Worker and do some private work on the side.  I have two cats, some fish in the tank, and a wonderful man whom I love dearly.  I have no children of my own, but instead, two beautiful step-daughters.  What more could a woman want??

I enjoy various crafts; camping; motorcycle rallies; various sports; music (listening and singing); and travelling.

My family is of the utmost importance to me.  My world revolves around them.  The only children I have of my own are my two cats; NoNo and Willi.  I have a lot of friends, but not many of them ride motorcycles.  As I already mentioned, I have two beautiful step-daughters, Meagan & Kayla. They are both teens and CAN have their moments but I love them just the same.  I hope that they feel the same toward me???  I come from a family of three gals, of which I am the oldest.  The middle sister is moving to Kuwait in August of 2002 to teach alongside of her husband.  My youngest sister is getting married in May of 2002.  Who knows whether or not she will be prepared for this!  Only time will tell.
