"Got everything?" Alesha asked as she grabbed her bag and her keys.
Lori nodded, picking up her suitcase and overnight bag. "Is it me or -"
Alesha grabbed the phone as it rang. "Hello??"
"Hey babygirl."
"Nick?!? Hi darlin'."
"Thought I'd call and say hi before ya'll left."
Alesha laughed. "I just talked to you," she looked at her watch, "6 hours ago. I'm getting ready to see you in 4."
"I know. I just love hearing your voice."
"That boy is pathetic," Lori said.
Alesha grinned. "Lori says hi."
"HEY LORI!!!" Nick shouted into the phone. "Kevin's pacing around here like a caged animal."
Alesha giggled. "So's Lori. She's driving me crazy."
Nick chuckled. "Anyway. Guess I should let you go. I'll see you soon sweetie."
"Kay. I love you."
"I love you too, Leshangel."
Alesha hung up the phone and turned around to find Lori staring at her. "WHAT?!?"
"He called you to say hi when you're going to be seeing him in a few hours?" she asked shaking her head.
"Oh come on."
They got to the airport in time to check in and rush to the gate. They handed their tickets to the guy and boarded the plane. They sat down in their seats, glad to be the only ones in their section.
Lori already had her Discman out and turned on. Alesha smiled and shook her head. Pulling hers out of its case, she flipped through her CDs. Metallica, Metallica, Megadeth, Metallica, Godsmack, Korn, Metallica, Backstreet Boys, Greenday, Megadeth, Backstreet Boys, Journey, and LFO. Sighing, she pulled out the LFO CD. Putting it in the player, she couldn't help but giggle to herself, remembering dancing with Howie. She shook her head and settled back in her seat for the flight.
