"Mandy Moore, Jessica Simpson, Britney Spears, or Christina Aquilera?" John Norris asked Nick.
"Why?" he laughed. "I plead the fifth."
Alesha laughed. "Oh my god. What ARE you wearing boy?" she asked the TV as she turned up the volume. She had gotten home early so she could watch them do their MTV interview. "Oh Kevin. That hat looks AWFUL!!" she giggled. "At least the rest of you look decent. Especially you, Howie," she mumbled as they went to a commercial.
"God that sucked," Kevin said wrapping his arms around Lori. "Why'd they have to bring up Lou?"
"You did well, baby," Lori said kissing him softly.
"Thanks for making me sound like a big brute, guys," Nick grumbled and plopped down on the couch pouting.
Howie walked up laughing as he hung up his cell phone. He looked at Kevin and grinned. "Alesha said that you need to have your head examined for wearing that hat, Kev."
"It wasn't THAT bad," Kevin mumbled.
"I wish Lesha was here," Lori sighed as she put the finishing touches on her make-up.
"Well, don't you look gorgeous," Leighanne asked as Lori turned around. "I wish she was here, too, darlin."
"Ready?" Lori asked looking at her watch. "We're suppose to meet Sarah outside in 10 minutes," she said making a face.
"Yeah. I'm ready," Leighanne sighed, grabbing her purse. "As ready as I ever am to see HER."
The girls walked downstairs and were ushered quickly to their seats. They were soon joined by the Boys not too long before the awards were underway.
Alesha quickly ran back in the room as the awards began. Settling back in the cushions of the couch, she scanned every shot of the crowd the camera provided her. Deciding they were never going to show the Boys, she went to the kitchen to make some popcorn.
Finally Rosie announced the Boys were performing. Alesha hurried back to the couch, and turned up the volume again. She smiled softly as they came out singing "How Deep Is Your Love". She giggled as Nick and Howie did the "California Raisins" walk at the beginning of "Papa Was A Rolling Stone". As they sang the piece from Boyz II Men's "I'll Make Love To You", her eyes filled with tears. When they started singing "Show Me The Meaning", they fell, uncontrollably.

"Oh Nicky," she said softly seeing the amount of emotion he was putting into the song. "I love you so much," she whispered as they exited the stage. She watched the rest of the awards, disappointed that the boys didn't win a single award. "They were robbed," she sighed as she clicked off the TV and headed to bed.
