Nick awoke slowly, disoriented. He tried to move, but a warm body curled up next to him, prevented it. Looking down at Alesha's sleeping figure, he smiled. He traced the curve of her cheek gently and pulled her close. "Baby, we have to get up." He hated waking her. Especially after the emotional night they'd had. They had spent the night talking and crying. He had asked her to join him on tour. She had told him that she couldn't. She couldn't give up her job and her apartment. Not for a while. Maybe the next one, she had said. "Alesha darling. It's 9:30. My plane leaves at 1:30," he said softly.
"I'm awake," she mumbled. "Just enjoying the feel of you next to me." She kissed his bare chest and smiled. "Thinking about keeping you with me."
He chuckled. "Don't think they guys would like that too much."
"I don't know. Kevin told me how much of a monster you can be," she grinned, tracing a soft line down the center of his chest.
"NICK!!!!" a high-pitched holler came from outside the bedroom door. Suddenly the door was swung open and Aaron was diving into the middle of the bed. "Hi guys," he said grinning sheepishly.
Alesha laughed. "You are SO like your brother."
Nick looked at her with a mock scowl. "I do NOT jump in the middle of people's beds." He grinned. "At least not while they're still in it," he mumbled.
Alesha giggled. "Silly man," she said kissing him softly.
"Ewwwwww," Aaron whined, wrinkling his nose. "Niiiick, you're kissing a GIRL."
Nick laughed. "Don't watch."
Aaron rolled his eyes. "Hello. I'm in the same ROOM. Can't help it."
Nick threw the covers over Aaron. "There. Now ya can't see." He leaned over and kissed Alesha again.
Aaron peeked out from under the blanket. "That's gross," he said. Hiding under the covers he mumbled, "But I guess it's okay cause it's Lesh."
Nick looked at Alesha and held up his hands, wiggling his fingers and grinning. Alesha nodded and giggled quietly. Creeping over, Nick grabbed Aaron and pulled him over to them, and then started tickling him wildly. Aaron was laughing so hard that he was turning purple, so Nick stopped tickling him so he could catch his breath. As soon as he did, Alesha started tickling him.
"Turn it down," AJ groaned, walking into the busy airport.
"Turn WHAT down?" Alesha asked looking at him funny.
"The noise. These people," he moaned, holding his head with one hand while he struggled to keep his bag on his shoulder.
"You look like complete shit, Bone," Nick laughed.
"Aren't YOU just a cheerio this morning?" AJ grumbled, pulling his hat down lower and adjusting his sunglasses. "It's too god damn bright in here."
"What's the matter Ageepoo? Get turned down for sex last night?" Nick asked making a cutesy kissy face.
Lori's head snapped up from off of Kevin's shoulder, eyes wide. Alesha looked at her funny, but didn't say anything. AJ glared. "Shut the fuck up, Nick!" AJ growled as he stalked over to a different part of the terminal to sit.
Kevin's phone rang. He opened his eyes slowly and looked at his watch. He answered the phone and hung up quickly. Standing up and stretching, he sighed. "Guess we better start the good byes," he said softly, looking at Lori. "Wouldn't want BRok and Howie to think we're ditching them."
Nick sighed. "Sure you won't come with me?" he asked Alesha, pulling her into a hug.
"I'm sorry baby. There is just too much to change to make that kind of decision on this short of a notice."
He smiled softly. "I know, sweetie. You know I had to try one last time," he kissed her gently.
Kevin pulled Lori close and kissed her softly. "You'll be in Dallas, right?"
She nodded. "Of course I will, baby. Wouldn't miss it for the world," she said pulling his face towards hers, kissing him passionately.
Alesha had been helping Nick gather his carry on bags when she seen AJ jump out of his seat and mouth, "FUCK," looking in the direction of Kevin and Lori. He almost ran onto the plane. Blinking in confusion, she shook her head. Handing the Nick his stuff, she kissed him softly and whispered, "I'll see you soon sweetie. I love you."
He nodded and murmured, "I love you baby." And kissed her one last time before boarding the plane, yelling "Goodbye Lori!" as he disappeared inside.
Kevin pulled away from Lori and sighed. "Guess I should go. I'll call you when we land." She nodded and waved. Kevin waved to Alesha as he disappeared inside the plane.
"Well, Lori girl, guess this is goodbye until Dallas," Alesha said.
"Yup. Then I'll be moving down here to give you hell," Lori grinned.
"Oh please don't," Alesha laughed. "I have Nick. I don't need anymore hell."
Lori laughed. "I'm so glad you too got back together. I was so tired of him moping about. Maybe now Sarah will disappear."
Alesha sighed. "I doubt it, but oh well."
They announced Lori's flight was boarding, so they gathered Lori's things and walked over to the boarding line. "God this has been a crazy 3 weeks," Lori said shaking her head.
"But the best we've had, yeah?"
"Hell yes," Lori giggled.
They called her section, so the girls hugged and promised to call every day until Alesha came to Dallas to get her. Alesha watched Lori board the plane. Sighing, she realized that she was completely alone again. Something she hadn't been for about 2 months now. "What the hell?" she asked herself quietly. "What am I gonna do now?"
