"Wanna go shopping?" Alesha asked moving the phone to her other ear as she cleaned up the house.
"YOU want to go shopping?" Lori asked.
"Yeah," Alesha laughed. "Something wrong with that?"
"Umm…no. It's just been a while," Lori smiled. "Sure. Your place or mine?"
"Well…I have to do something with Taelen. He hates shopping," Alesha said. Just then the door burst open and Taelen came running inside.
"Lita, Nick wants me to go to Orlando with him. Can I? Please?" He begged.
"Well, that takes care of that problem," Alesha murmured into the phone. "Umm…sure honey. Have fun," she said hugging him tightly.
"Thank you," he smiled up at her. "I love you."
"I love you too, baby," she said watching him run out the door.
"Oookay," Lori said. "What was that all about?"
"Nick is taking Tae to Orlando," Alesha said.
"Nick? He won't talk to you, but he'll hang out with Taelen?"
Alesha shrugged. "He likes him. And Tae loves Nick. So it's all good. Anywho. How about there? We could like go out after we shop. Ya know, get the guys together go to a club or something?"
"Umm…Kay. Who hit you on the head?" Lori asked confused.
Alesha laughed. "What is that suppose to mean?"
Lori shrugged. "It's just for the last couple of months you've been Ms. Anti-Social and now you're Ms. Party-Thang again. What's up?"
Alesha giggled. "Ms. Party-Thang? Hehe…can tell who YOU live with." Sighing she said, "I'm tired of staying here all alone pining after Nick. Yes, I still miss him. Yes, I still love him with all my heart and I'll probably never be able to give any of me to another man because Nick still has all of me, but I'm not going to sit here and waste away. Maybe one day Nick will find it in his heart to love me and believe in me again. Maybe not. But I'm not going to wait for him to decide before I start living again."
"Oookay. What brought on THIS sudden surge of empowerment?"
"Umm…can we like talk about this in person?" Alesha asked.
"Sure sweetie," Lori said, sensing Alesha's hesitation.
"Okay. Give me about an hour. I'll be there ASAP," Alesha grinned.
"Okie, hon. See ya soon," Lori said hanging up the phone. Walking over to the couch, she sat down next to AJ.
He looked up from his notebook and smiled. "So, Alesha's ready to party again?"
Lori shrugged. "I guess. I get the feeling that something happened and it scared her. I don't know what it is though," she said softly lost in thought.
"Well, baby, I'm sure you'll find out when ya'll go out," he said resting his hand on her leg. Running it up the inner part of her thigh slowly he grinned. "How long 'til she gets here?" he asked leaning over and kissing her softly on the neck.
"About two hours knowing her," Lori said closing her eyes, enjoying the feel of his lips on her skin.
"Two hours, huh?" he asked tossing his notebook on the table and pulling her closer to him.
Lori nodded. "Have NO idea what I'm going to do until she gets here," she said breathlessly as his hands caressed her through her black lace-knit tank top. She ran her nails lightly over his bare chest, loving the sound of his breathing when she did that. There were days she thanked God that he roamed the house half naked, in nothing but a pair of boxers. It looked like today was going to be one of those days.
"NO idea?" he asked, kissing down her neck and to the skin of her shoulders revealed by the spaghetti-straps.
She shook her head. "Perhaps I'll go read a book, or go lay out or something," she whispered as he laid her back on the couch and began kissing her stomach, running his tongue around her navel lightly.

"As ready as you are for me," she said looking deep in his eyes and guiding him inside her.
He pushed himself as deeply insider her as was physically possible, holding it there, feeling her soft, hot wetness around him. Sliding back in only half way, he pulled out again, watching the small frown of frustration play on her lips. He enjoyed teasing her this way. "Of course you don't. But as much as I love her, I don't feel it necessary to reveal myself to her," she said pushing him off her, kissing him lightly.
"Hmph," he pouted as she got up and grabbed her clothes. "Where ya going?" he asked.
"To take a shower," she said walking up the stairs.
"Oooh…can I help?" AJ asked chasing after her.
