Well, first things first, if you'd be so kind as to click on the delicious Double-Double above, then you can embark on your journey to finding out more about In-N-Out burger.
Behind the Menu...
You probably are familiar with the traditional items that In-N-Out burger has to offer... But do you also know the menu BEHIND the menu? That's right, there's more options for your taste buds to embark on! Take a look!
3x3 - Just like it's predecessor, The 3x3 is for those with a bigger appetite. It contains the same great ingredients as the other burgers, but with 3 meat patties and 3 slices of cheese!
4x4 - You guessed it! It gets even better! The same thing as the 3x3, but with more meat and cheese for more enjoyment!
?x? - I really didn't know how to put this, but you don't have to go by the numbers in ordering your burger. To make things even more customizable, you can order with any number of meat patties and cheese slices! Just remember that the first number represents meat and the second, cheese. So, a 2x4 isn't a piece of lumber, it's a burger with 2 meats and 4 cheeses. (Yes, if you're INSANE enough, we'll make a 100x100 for you... sicko!)
Grilled Cheese - So, you don't like meat, huh? Well, here's a delicious solution, try a grilled cheese!! It's got all the delicious veggies and original spread just like a burger, but no meat! Two slices of cheese are melted together and grilled to the top bun (the cap or crown) and laid on top of all the other In-N-out fresh ingredients. (I recommend a Grilled Cheese with grilled onions! Perfecto!)
Veggie (Wish) Burger - You don't like cheese either??? Man! You're a tough cookie! Okay, well, we've got something for you too!!! The veggie burger comes with all the traditional ingredients a normal burger comes with, but with NO meat and NO cheese, just a bun, spread, and all those cool, crisp vegetables! (again, I think grilled onions are a MUST!)
Animal Style - This is the way that we can prepare a burger for you, and it's pretty darn good too! Order any burger you'd like (hamburger, cheeseburger, Double-Double, etc.) and getting it animal style means we're gonna put grilled onions, fried mustard (on the meat patty), pickles, and extra spread on there for ya! It may sound a little weird, but WELL worth trying out. It'll make an animal out of anybody!
Protein Style - This fun option has been ever increasing in popularity ever since "no bread" or "protein" diets became popular, but surprisingly enough, Protein style has been around since day one of In-N-Out burger history! A protein style burger is missing the bun, but rather is wrapped up in two large leafs of lettuce and still has everything that a traditional In-N-Out burger has. It can get a little messy though (especially if you combine it with animal style), but it brings out the flavors of all that good stuff inside!
Flying Dutchman - Okay, don't ask me where they got the name, because I have no clue!!! Seriously, I think it's just a crazy name for a crazy burger. Here's what you get: Two meat patties, and two cheeses..... THAT'S IT! All we do is put them on top of each other and let it fly! (hey... maybe THAT'S where it came from...)
Fries - If our fries aren't quite to your liking, then tinker with them a little! You can order your fries light or well. Cooking the fries light means we'll pull them early, so they aren't all the way cooked and still a little soft. Cooking the fries well means we'll leave them in the oil longer, and let them crisp to a darker brown than usual. This is tasty, seeing that the potatoes we use are also the same as the kind used to make potato chips! So they've got that great traditional flavor to them too!
Shakes
- If a traditional
14 oz. shake isn't enough for you, then go ahead and make it bigger! We also
serve Large (20 oz.) Shakes and Extra Large (32 oz.) shakes too. They're
pricey, but if you love our made-from-real-ice cream shakes, then you won't
hesitate to go all the way!!
