Sailor Moon Trading Cards
|
These cards came in a pack. They were given to me on Valentine's Day of 2001 by Amber *Sailor Celestial* and these really cheered me up that day (especially since we had a bomb threat at school and had to stand outside in the cold for an hour or two).
These are made by Dart Flipcards, Inc. and are Series III cards. Cards #1, #7, #14, #19, and #25 came in this pack along with a card meant to be used as a checklist for which cards you have and which ones you are missing. The checklist card is #72.
#1 is the Destined Love card. On the back, it reads "The moonlight carries the message of love for Princess Serena and Tuxedo Mask. Fate brought them together during the Silver Millennium and they have found each other once again when they were reborn on Earth 1000 years in the future."
#7 features Jedite/Jadeite and is The First General card. On the back, it reads, "Jedite was first introduced in Episode #1, "A Moon Star is Born." He ordered his servant, Morga, to collect the energy of greed from humans who were lured by the radiance of jewels."
#14 is the Mercury Bubbles Blast card. On the back, it reads, "Sailor Mercury stands with her arms outwards and a glowing blue orb forms in between her hands. She spins around counterclockwise once and crosses her arms in front of her chest. She then spreads her arms widely to spray a multitude of foam bubbles at her opponent."
#19 is the Shine Aqua Illusion! card. On the back, it reads, "This attack begins with a drop of water that falls into a puddle. Sailor Mercury turns clockwise in a circle and raises her arms above her head as water spirals about her body. She then spreads her arms and sends a strong wave of water at her opponent."
#25 is the Mercury Bound card. On the back, it reads, "Nephlite's servant, Petasos, ensnared Sailor Mercury with her "vine-hair" attack. Sailor Mercury was unable to move or use her powers to free herself. Sailor Mars arrived on the scene and destroyed the vines using "Mars Fire Ignite," which released Sailor Mercury."
The #72 checklist card shows that there are 72 cards (including the checklist card itself) and 9 "Chase" cards to collect in this trading card series.

Sailor Mercury Playing Card

This Sailor Mercury playing card was given to me in 2001 by Grace *Sailor Earth* on a day when I was feeling rather melancholy. It cheered me up and I really thank her for it.
