Aussies have a need to work, if work is not offered they might develop various chores themselves. Taking care of sufficient amount of execise and daily brainwork you are guaranteed to have a loyal, happy and loving pet!
Aussies are territorial dogs and tending their flock whether it's animals or humans. They should be socialized will, as they can be reserved and even suspicious towards strangers. Aussies get along well with children specially when they are raised along with them. Last but not least: The Aussie truly is one of the most intelligent dogs.
