Creating this web page has caused a renewed interest in the old abandoned school in Breathitt County. I can understand this draw, because it is the same mystery that enticed my friends and I. However, I will never return to this place, and I do not recommend that any of the viewers of this page make the trip either, whether for a return visit, or a first time exploration. It makes you paranoid to an extent that is mentally unhealthy. Driving at night seems intimidating. You are convinced that any noise without obvious origin is straight out of the shadows of Hell. Any dark space contains a pair of eyes that are watching you to plan an attack. It's just a terrible month after you've been spooked by the real thing -- and I believe this is the real thing. The main reason that I will never go back to this mystic, forgotten school on Frozen Creek {or any place like it} is in Leviticus 20:6. |
