A new identity? 6 November, 2001     Siena. The world has the right to defend itself against terrorism, against barbarity, against lies, against Evil. But we can't construct a new identity on a war! War is a tragic necessity, but not the beginning point of a new era. It is a major trauma, first of all for the innocent people. We have to base our identity on love, on respect for others, on the infinite value of words, on respect for the hope of the poor of the world. The philosophical sounds will explain this concepts.
